Is the pressure of manhood smothering sometimes? Do the mixed messages you get from culture only intensify your confusion? Is being a real man defined as having a perfect family, a corner office, a big salary, a nice car, and a large home? Or is there something more to this life, a deeper source of satisfaction? We believe Jesus actually says some surprising things about what it means to be a man, and as a church, our vision for what men could be and should be looks like this:
We imagine a community of men that see themselves the way Jesus sees them. As a result, they don't retreat from the battle but run courageously toward it.
We imagine men moving from being disconnected to connected, to Jesus, Family and Self.
We imagine men moving from isolation into authentic community and trusting others with their struggles.
We imagine our sons and daughters learning from us that it's okay to trust someone with their story and struggles.
We imagine men who are desperate for the blessing of their earthly fathers, finally discovering that they have an even greater blessing from their Heavenly Father.
You have the opportunity to join men from different stages of life within our city for a time of authentic conversation and important connections. We hope this experience is the beginning of a journey in which Jesus leads you to be the husband, father, brother, boss, employee—man—you’ve always wanted to be.
