City kids
Welcome! We believe that every child is a gift from God, made by Him and with more potential than they could ever imagine. Our desire is to develop that potential and assist parents in preparing their kids for a future of following Jesus. City Kids is an environment designed to lead and care for kids in Kindergarten - 5th Grade. This environment is led by volunteers that have been interviewed, trained, background checked and are passionate about caring for your kids.
Everything we teach during large group is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Much of what we will teach in this environment is based on one of three basic, but powerful truths modeled in Jesus' life in Luke 2:52.

I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust Jesus no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
If you have any questions we can answer prior to arrival, please contact our City Kids Coordinator, Katie Ryan.

What is the City KIDS well child policy?
We care about your children and want to keep them safe and healthy! We also live in an unprecedented moment in history with the fast spread of COVID-19. Because of this, we want to inform you of the steps we are taking to help prevent the spread of all colds and viruses, and we invite you to partner with us in making City Church a fun, safe, and healthy environment for your children to engage with Jesus. We know that there is no such thing as a “perfectly safe” environment, so we completely understand if you prefer not to bring your children into one of these environments. If you choose to attend, please understand that there is always potential risk of being exposed to sickness. The only risk-free environment that exists is in your home, while choosing to attend obviously risks exposure. By attending, you are personally assuming that liability.
So, with all of that in mind, we first plead with you to keep your children home if they show any signs of being ill. Those signs are included in the list below of all symptoms to be considered.
Steps we are taking to prevent the spread of viruses and other germs:
-
At check-in, there will be hand sanitizer provided at one of our stations. We will regularly utilize hand sanitizer/soap in the City Tots/Kids environments as well.
-
Gloves will be utilized while serving your children any snacks or changing diapers.
-
The same wellness rules that apply to our children will apply to our volunteers and staff. No one who cares for your children will show any of the signs and symptoms listed below.
-
Children are NOT required to wear a mask as we believe masks will actually cause children them to touch their face more often than not. However, if you choose to send them with one, we will respect that and do our best to keep it on them while interacting with other children.
-
All snacks we use are pre-packaged by our staff team ahead of time. Please do not supply your child with their own snack (unless there is an allergy concern) and/or water bottle as we do not want to allow other children to be exposed to outside material like this in the classroom.
-
The City Tots/Kids areas are cleaned and disinfected every week, including all toys after the gathering.
-
