When is my child promoted to the next group?

Children from birth to 2 years old are promoted developmentally. Kids 3 years and up are promoted annually in the fall.

Will my kids be able to be in the same small group?

For the safety of all the children within City Kids, we place children from birth to 2 years of age in groups developmentally, so your children may or may not be able to be in the same group. We place all older kids in age and gender appropriate groups, so your children may or may not be able to be in the same small group.

What is the City KIDS well child policy?

We care about your children and want to keep them safe and healthy! Please keep your children home if they show any signs of being ill. Those signs are included in the list below of all symptoms to be considered.

Steps we are taking to prevent the spread of viruses and other germs:

  1. We will regularly utilize hand sanitizer/soap in the City Kids environments as well.

  2. Gloves will be utilized while serving your children any snacks or changing diapers.

  3. The same wellness rules that apply to our children will apply to our volunteers and staff. No one who cares for your children will show any of the signs and symptoms listed below.

  4. All snacks we use are pre-packaged by our staff team ahead of time. Please do not supply your child with their own snack (unless there is an allergy concern) and/or water bottle as we do not want to allow other children to be exposed to outside material like this in the classroom.

  5. The City Kids areas are cleaned and disinfected every week, including all toys after the gathering.

  6. Below is the list of any and all signs and symptoms…

  • Fever (must be fever free for 24 hours)

  • Vomiting or diarrhea (must be symptom free for 24 hours)
