Safety procedures
We care about you and about keeping everyone who enters our building safe and healthy! We also live in an unprecedented time in history with the fast spread of COVID-19. Because of this, we want to inform you of the steps we are taking to help prevent the spread of all colds and viruses. We invite you to partner with us in making City Church a safe and healthy environment for everyone to engage with Jesus. We know that there is no such thing as a “perfectly safe” environment, so we completely understand if you prefer not to attend until the climate changes in regard to overall health and safety. If you choose to attend, please understand that there is always potential risk of being exposed to sickness. The only risk-free environment that exists is in your home, while choosing to attend obviously risks exposure. By attending, you are personally assuming that liability.
So with all of that in mind, below are the steps we are taking to prevent the spread of viruses and other germs that we invite you to join us in:
-
Please do NOT arrive on a Sunday morning or to any of our weekly environments if you are showing any of the symptoms listed below.
-
We will have hand sanitizer/soap readily available throughout all of our environments.
-
Masks are optional.
-
If you are high-risk for COVID-19 in any way, we encourage you to stay home at this time. Again, you are ultimately free to go where you please, and choosing to do so means you are assuming the risk of getting sick, including entering one of our environments.
-
The entire building is cleaned and disinfected each week after the gathering.
-
If you identify anyone who you believe is showing the following symptoms, please notify a staff member immediately.
-
Fever (must be fever free for 24 hours)
-
Vomiting or diarrhea (must be symptom free for 24 hours)
-
Common cold
-
Sore throat
-
Shortness of breathe
-
Croup
-
Cloudy or green, runny nose
-
Persistent cough
-
Body aches
-
Chills
-
Fatigue
-
Any unexplained rash
-
Pinkeye or other eye infections (must be on medication for treatment for a minimum of 24 hours)
-
Any symptoms of childhood diseases (ex. Scarlet fever, German measles, mumps, chickenpox, cough, strep throat, flu, etc. )
-
Any infectious disease
If you have any questions, please reach out. We will do our best to communicate with you if there is any potential exposure to sickness that takes place during one of our gatherings. Thank you again for partnering with us in providing safe environments where our people can learn and grow in their relationship with Jesus!
